Glass Diversions Frit Testing

I am so excited to now be a frit tester for Robin Koza at Glass Diversions! I will be adding examples of her beautiful frit mixes on my beads on this page. I love working with this frit. It is easy and not fussy at all. If you are interested in her frit you should check out her website just click here<<< http://www.glassdiversions.com/
Exotic
This is truly an "Exotic" blend! I love the ruby and yellow mixed in with a touch of black and it is very easy to work with. Pop it in the kiln and the colors burst!

I used Morettie Effetre pastel light pink rolled in a generous amount of the "Exotic" frit then stringer swirled to get these colors.

Check out the ruby pink in this combination! I used Moretti Effetre pastel light sky blue, stringer swirled for this combination.

I used Moretti Effetre powder pink in this combination which also brought out some turquoise in the swirls. This is amazing you can achieve the turquoise in a reduced flame.

Prism
A Kaleidoscope of color, this frit is so easy to work with, although you only need a light layer to acheive the combinations I have made.

In this set I have used Moretti Effetre pastel white and a light layer of prism. I have etched these for a soft finish. Check out the bright colors! Awesome!

I will have more examples soon!

Twist Of Lime
This is an awesome lime green frit. It is no fuss, and really easy to work with! Makes me want a chilled Magarita!

I used Moretti Effetre pastel pale pink and gravity swirled these!

Ready to grab that margarita right?
Made with Moretti Effetre pastel white.

More examples coming soon.

Enchanted Forest
This is a beautiful mix of pastels, very enchanting! Very easy to work with.

These are made with Moretti Efftre pastel white.

I used Moretti Effetre crystal clear for these. I just love the way the colors sit on the clear. These are frosted with etching solution.

More examples coming soon!

French Tarragon
This is a unique blend of olive, light blue, and lime green. I have alot of fun with this mix. It is so easy to use on all colors!

In this set I have used the French Tarragon frit with Moretti Effetre Light Turquoise. Then I lightly etched them with etching solution for this soft reaction.

In this set I used the French Tarragon frit with Moretti Effetre Dark Sky Blue, and gravity swirled in the heat.

This is the French Tarragon on Moretti Effetre Venacia Purple and etched

This is the French Tarragon scattered on Silvered Ivory. The reaction with the silvered ivory gives you a really organic look. I just love it!
